Elon would have to be believing he's completely toast before he'd throw himself into jail like that. Even if his empire completely falls... he'd still have assets enough to live on in comfort. In other words, Elon hasn't the balls or inclination to hurt himself to get at DJT. Sadly.

If Elon actually has the dirt needed to make this work, he'd release it as soon as he is deported. So Trump wouldn't do it. Frankly I don't think even Bannon is serious. He's just "flooding the zone with sh-t" by saying loud and highly reportable bullsh-t to get on air.
