Yes it’s always baffled me. When I traveled to southern Oregon the most frightening thing I saw was all the f@ck Biden flags everywhere. It made me feel unsafe. How do people have so much hate?

Try living here. They can be frightening, but mostly they're appalling, and hateful. Stubborn, too.

A lot of money and expertise has gone into making sure rural people 1) feel victimized and 2) Blame the wrong people and policies for those feelings
