One of my last days at my happy place. I'd used to weird me out to be the only one here. Now I prefer it (with the exception of the owner because he's aweaome). Just me and my thoughts, the cicadas, dragon & damselflies, and the pool frogs. Bonus: I heard some owls calling and responding!
I love swimming pools so, SO much. Grew up going to community pools basically every day. Have coffee table books featuring pools. Can still swim and tread water indefinitely. Nevertheless, I am TERRIFIED to swim in a pool w/no one else around. The TV movie PIRANHA (1995) really messed with my head.
