If I walk about a mile from here to the main street I'll pass 11 different flags on buildings, including seven varieties of British isles flag. Would probably avoid all except the Ukraine, Polish and Chinese one with an excellent menu next to it.

I remember once spying in a back garden not far from our house in Brixton that someone was flying the apartheid-era South African flag. There can’t be any good reason to do that, as far as I can see.
I should probably have gone and challenged them to fly it from the front of their house on Clapham Park Road. The local glaziers would certainly have been grateful.
In /Brixton/? There's a telling lack of self-awareness, never mind whatever the other reasons were.
Sounds like deliberate provocation to me.
