1 - yes, absolutely. 2 - sketch shows are unbelievably resilient in Scotland, and I'm not sure why other than a long history (Chewin the Fat, Limmy, Scot Squad, Burnistoun, Stevens & McCarthy). Mind you, we still make the BBC's Saturday live kids show up here, so it might just be TV's Jurassic Park.
