I don’t think that I have any symptoms of those, but you could be onto something! My sister has bipolar so it runs in the family, and I know that can affect how people respond to SSRIs. I have not been diagnosed, and if I have it, it is much more mild. Probably worth another discussion with the dr..

I'd say just keep an open mind. I'm certainly not wanting to plant any unnecessary seeds of doubt/concern as the internet will convince you that you have 3 minutes left to live if you go looking, but I didn't suspect ADHD/ASD at all until my sister got tested and realised I'd check the same boxes

It took me a long time to get properly diagnosed and get the actual treatment I needed. 💕

Yeah that seems to be a big problem rn. Here in the UK we're very lucky in that our NHS have partnered with a number of commercial providers so that you can self-refer to one that suits you without any costs. I'm hoping to hear back from one soon who has an 8-12 week waiting list on assessments.

The tough part on a personal level is that I've spent 15 years treating mental health symptoms without anyone addressing the underlying causes. Better late than never😅 glad to hear you're on track now and hope you're doing well, and @jaychelf.bsky.social I hope you find something that helps soon man
