Soon enough we wont even have the benefit of being the strongest economy, with the best talent and top infrastructure. We are going to fade away with a whimper into mediocrity as the globe allies against us, with us driving them to it.

I am not sure I agree. Authoritarian govt's like China can allocate resources more freely and our relience on other countries industrial complexes to even build out our own is incredibly understated. Our own weight can drag us down a ton. Being a reserved currency though, is a good counterweight.

The fundamentals still favor the USA despite Trump’s effort to destroy us. Our physical infrastructure not been good for awhile. Will he outlast Silicon Valley or will he really kill the dollar, truly kill universities? So much cultural power in music & movies, kill those exports? I really dont know
