We are gonna lose midterms if we keep trying to prop up dead children to stand on, to push this agenda. It's the least popular Democratic principle by very large margins IIRC.
I wish there was a filter that would auto remove the trash. So we could get back to a good discourse. Everyone gets to have their moment and freedom to say what they want and we have the freedom to avoid it.

We have a problem thinking health "insurance" is a care subscription and insurance. The whole market needs rebranding on terms. There should be a public option for both that is free but limited in what it does. Then a public sector to meet higher demands of coverage or premium care.
No one should agree to this. Even Republicans would spend time complimenting the other side of it contributed to a victory. Winning matters more than passing moments involving people's pride.
I'm not sure attacking maga will matter since it's so bound to Trump himself. So once he is out of the picture it will likely fade into the mixture of various conservative parties.

Everyone thinking/commenting there is a grand design is way off base. Is loud and noisy delivery on a campaign promise to garner favor. Businesses having to pay 150k to fill these jobs will be seen as a victory. Every business that goes under will be a sacrifice for the greater good.
With so much labor going into the basics community and household distribution of responsibilities made sense. Neither of us have had to spend 12 hours a day in the field working soil. We've specialized, gained a ton, lost some things along the way.
My understanding is that most of the time people ate soups and stews, or sauces. Which can be made tasty with cheaper ingredients. Or a tiny amount of meat, or meat adjacent items like bones or other discards. We are all thinking complexity matters, it doesn't, cost does, for this context.
Hard to get people to describe colors they have never seen. In a world of abundance and safety it's hard to imagine not having delicious choices from meal to meal, let alone not have a protein per meal.
Which in turn fostered involvement in the community. As much as social media and individualism broke our sense of belonging in a community, so have household appliances. Maybe more so.
This is entirely use case dependent. Most people are not good at breaking work apart so they compare AI to humans on an overall skill set. Mixture of experts delivers pretty well, when targeting at a use case and it's only going to get better.
You are wrong. If this was true we would have seen mass permanent unemployment with the industrial revolution, or any revolution since. AI is going to raise the floor in competence, quality and expectations. Which in turn will raise the needs for more people.
These are actually really good basics for anyone using AI, for any purpose.

This is understated. Models will improve with different strategies at the same time. Via curated training. Via evolution. They can evolve so incredibly fast with this our competency is going to get surpassed in a blink.

I think this may not work. So much effort has been made to hold the President accountable even when they don't have direct control. He appointed him and he could replace him. Both parties are primed for this.

I am not sure I agree. Authoritarian govt's like China can allocate resources more freely and our relience on other countries industrial complexes to even build out our own is incredibly understated. Our own weight can drag us down a ton. Being a reserved currency though, is a good counterweight.
