I don't think this is the point of his post, it's not both sides'ing anything. Just pointing out the flaws in the original creation. If we want them fixed we need to acknowledge them so we can prevent them.

STOP. The “flaws in the creation” were entirely due to the concessions Democrats had to make to get any version of the ACA passed in a filibustered Senate.

In order to pass Medicare, the Dems and LBJ had two compromise. One thing the Rs know-nothing about. The great bipartisan immigration bill was agreed by everyone until Turd threatened the Rs into voted it down. This latest killer of lower class citizens bill was never up for compromise.

Obama tried to go toward universal/single payer care but was thwarted at every point. Even after the watered down ACA passed, Rs have been chomping at the bit to overthrow it. We simply need better politicians and to do so we need to be better.
