Some Doms want their subs to lower their gaze in their presence. Derek is none of them. 😌

He clearly wants to see the mix of quavering fear and simmering arousal in their eyes when he's around.

Yeah. Especially when they're shy and tend to avoid eye-contact in general. :D He loves to see discomfort mixed with arousal. But I'd say, in CONTRAST he tends to force Simons head down, until his nose touches the floor. XD Because THAT guy has no problem with being confrontational and bold.

Besides that ... he likes eye-contact much more than bowed heads. :3 He's very psychologically invested in his subs. Wants to see their emotions, the feelings HE evoked in them, reflected in their gaze.
