Which is kinda… ineffective when you’re working digitally, if you think about it! You’re way quicker just slapping an overall shadow on your drawing and then carving out the light parts. Plus, it helps avoid those fuzzy little shadows that weaken the overall strength of a form.

to Clip Studio Paint and throw it all together. Add some color corrections, gradiant maps, etc... and finished :3 Sounds complicated, but I guess the whole process takes me 5-7 minutes per background. I use a lot of auto-actions and templates to get it done in a timely manner.

I just found the perfect pen to replace the static and unnatural looking sketchup lines. :D Just convert the pixel layer into vector in clip studio paint and replace the sterile default lines with something more gritty! My ultimate goal is to eradicate any trace of 3D with minimal effort. 👀✨
