My takeaway from watching the SQ major: it seems like people have learned to take off-angles and draw aggro better (which was a key point about the whole "Japan is better than us" discussion) but it seems like their teams aren't taking advantage of it too well?
Like you'll see someone sitting on the flank or behind the enemy team, drawing aggro of 2 or 3 players, but either their team isn't in a position to take advantage of it, or they just don't take the opportunity for whatever reason
Still a very high level of play and an entertaining watch nonetheless but you can tell people are still learning things
This is 100000% spot on- the teams that move forward to take advantage of the other team literally turning their bodies will always have the illusion of being “so fast” Need to spread the map out and know whether to draw attention or clean up if they don’t focus you
Yeah this is all i see with xenith rn, doing a very good job of drawing aggro with nobody capitalizing
other takeaway: jordan is a god amongst men
