I am wishing you a peaceful integration. It’s so stressful putting them together & they’d been doing really well up until Gladys laid. I’m going to keep watch over them today & see what happens. I’ve heard interfering prolongs things too. 💔 It’s hard to be softhearted & watch them be so mean. 🫣

Gladys just started this week at 19 weeks. She did her first squat about 2 weeks ago so I knew it was coming. Frida has been running a little over a week behind her in everything so I expect she’ll start in a week or so if all goes well.

Thank you so much. It really is hard. We ended up with one rooster out of the nine chicks and even the little spats they have within their group are hard to watch. I have a feeling one of the older ladies will end up dominating the cock though, at least for a bit, he’s a weird lil guy lol.
