Stunning view. Only been there once, I stopped briefly at loch Chon on my way to Inversnaid and then being utterly stunned by the view as I approached Arklet, unfortunately there was no light and the cloud rolled in, the mountains only reappeared while I was enjoying my pint at inversnaid hotel!

Thanks - I’ve only been once before too - I always seem to get caught up at Loch Ard and Loch Chon 😅

Chon is gorgeous. I wish I'd spent more time down that way instead of staying close to Loch Katrine, although my parkup was lovely and handy for Ben Venue and Loch Achray.

So many options in that area - you want to be at them all at the same time 😅

Definitely! My problems were made worse by it being the start of autumn, so the call of the trees was loud!

It was missing on my visit too! I've just promised myself another visit in the spring, hopefully I'll take in a couple of the Arrochar Alps while I'm there.
