A wee bit heart in mouth, I went up to see my tree last night. after being so gutted to see it obviously sick last year I've been a bit reluctant to go up there. But here she is, telling me not to worry, that despite being bark-stripped by the deer which often sleep under her, she's doing just fine.

Bottom of the Quay at the start of the path to Glasson. There was quite a fight for it to finally be awarded town green status. It's far from being a great woodland photography wise, but it's a lovely space. And there's ongoing planting of natives and wildflowers.

Stunning view. Only been there once, I stopped briefly at loch Chon on my way to Inversnaid and then being utterly stunned by the view as I approached Arklet, unfortunately there was no light and the cloud rolled in, the mountains only reappeared while I was enjoying my pint at inversnaid hotel!
