Unfortunately your president, elected by your people, doesn't understand the ramifications of very deliberately starting a trade war with your closest neighbour. If he does understand, he doesn't give a shit.

He does not give a shit. Yes he was elected by our people, but only by 30% of them, I am hoping that wakes the 36% who did not bother to vote up, but I doubt it. Nor do I care as a direct neighbor, like trow a rock neighbor to Canada, if they have to fuck me over to get defend themselves.
