Hmm, most of the uses energy providers, especially nuclear are French/Chinese owned. Royal mail is owned by a Czech run consortium. Most water isn't US company owned, apart from south western, owned. by Blackrock and Norjes bank. Gas and oil? Nope, not USA.

Try looking at who owns the construction companies alone involved in building and running our infrastructure, look at the maze of mezzanine financing, banks, venture capital, hedge funds, foreign state backed loans etc, to pretend we have any leverage over the US or others is fanciful.

The point is we don`t own them, you can nit pick pedantically over who owns what, but the reality is voters sold thier independence decades ago, and a huge chunk of the UK is controlled by US money (and others) via hedge funds such as Blackrock etc

I was merely pointing out that you were wrong in your assertion that all, or most of our infrastructure is usa owned. Of course most should be under public ownership but at this present moment in time, I'll settle for them not being US owned/controlled.
