The reason why I didn't vote Labour for only the 2nd time in my life and cancelled my membership was because the writing was very much on the wall. How they still have the gall to describe themselves as a democratic socialist party is beyond me.

I should have known, but I was feeling all optimistic. More fool me. My dad would be ashamed of what they’ve become!

Don't get me wrong, I was over the moon that they ran the tories out of town, but my conscience wouldn't allow me to vote for them, which is a shame because my local mp has been ace, she works really hard within the community.
