*I* think ultimately, Pride is as much for the Kink community as it is for every other person who identifies as Queer. THEY made Pride. THEY have fought for their right to be a part-of Pride ever since. Fuck your pearl-clutching moral panic, you don't get a say in this.

You realize I’m defending kink, here, right? My point is that we can’t really create a distinction with “kink activities” either because it’s over broad. The actual limits on activity at pride are vastly more limited to those which are actually harmful.

My point is that expression and activity is not a viable distinction for “what actions are harmful to observe,” we need a tighter and clearer distinction. I think all of the examples I provided are entirely harmless and should be permissible in all public spaces (but especially pride).

But… also… I’m gay and in a lifestyle 24/7 TPE Dom/sub relationship with my non-binary spouse and wear my collar openly in my professional work place daily. I literally cannot IMAGINE who gets a say in this if not me.
