The number of mass shootings perpetrated by Trans people is 0.11% But still, with the sad news of the shooting in Minneapolis, we'll see an exponential rise in hate-crimes as Conservatives use this to target us, and other minoritised communities. Our thoughts are with the victims of the attack.

Someone choosing a label to identify with is a singular, not a collective term. If someone who was AFAB describes themselves as Trans masc and Lesbian, those descriptors are for them and no one else, affecting nothing but their dating pool. Leave this dead argument and pearl-clutching to bigots.

Today I walked 30km and I had a healthy reminder that no matter where I am in the world, as a Trans woman I am unsafe to exist in any space that cis people are in.
We have Indigenous, Black and Racialised, and other minority groups to thank for basically all of our Leftist ideals as we know them. It's always been the oppressed who have lifted us up through their struggles, it's time to learn through them and put theory into praxis.
