247. Highlander - A film that if you stop and ask questions it crumbles but who cares. This film for me is all about to cool vibes, its the music and the visuals and its just cool. Immortal people fight it out until there can be only one. Sean Connery steals every scene
248. The cannonball run - comedy racer, lots of quirky characters join a coast to coast race and high jinx ensue. I enjoyed the jackie chan stunts, the meta Roger Moore being a jewish guy pretending to be Moore/bond. Its live action wacky races but i prefer death race not for me
249. The naked gun (2025) - comedy legacy sequel. I was hesitant but knew casting Neeson was a great idea but i had some trepidation. The film is good, it honours the previous films by being dumb. Like the originals its very clever about being dumb. Great film
250. Queer - adaptation of the burrows story, this drama sees a drug addicted writer in latin America sleeping with guys become fixated on one guy and wants to sleep with him. Its the straight adaptation which is still bleak, great film and craig is great but not naked lunch odd
251. Cade: the tortured crossing - direct sequel to the previous film, neil breen is a super spy augmented by aliens but he is helping a mental hospital and turn its patient to fight the system. Its daft as always not the most entertaining but the worst of his good/bad films
252. Black mirror (season 7) - anthology show about technology. Even a poor episode is a solid watch but for me this season was a really solid episode. The one i wasn’t as keen on was the episode thats a sequel to a previous episode. A great watch
253. Godzilla vs mechagodzilla 2 - the best run of Godzilla films comes to a silly entertaining entry that on paper i should love but on this watch didn’t. Its more focused on the monsters and fights but they are dull, strange to say but rodan is a miss cast. Its still watchable but not peek zilla
254. Ninja (2009) - in the 80s and 90s cannon films gave us American ninja, in the 2000s scott adkins is British ninja with an iffy American accent. This martial arts action is predictable and entertaining just like a classic canon film. Great fighting, bad direction
