An 1899 article from 'The Locomotive Magazine' on Edward's Dutch sisters. Not been able re-find the extract for some time now but Pettigrew's smaller design provided by Sharp Stewart in 1901 were similarly capable of cracking 70mph on the few favourable sections of the Furness Railway network.
