Republicans reps don’t even make appearances here anymore, and I live in the single most Republican friendly place in Illinois. Almost like all these companies that leaned in are getting fucked sideways.

They wanted so hard to believe that those red maps would pay their bills. And now they're learning that people live in cities, cities are blue, and blue cities have the money. The king in the big house might be able to steal whatever he wants...but the companies that adopted those policies need PR.

Right. It all adds up, too. Everyone has a line, and you can’t keep crossing lines without losing more people. Eventually they’ll have to take a step back from it, and pray that people are convinced they’ve changed.
