This whole thing makes a great bit of comedy...but, the low prices on some these things are amazing for fans. $20 to meet any talent is an incredible discount...and that would be for one talent. This is two of the biggest stars in the world. That would normally be something like $80x2. 🤼
Nah...I always try to watch live shows live. The whole point is to connect with the other people watching the same show. That's what makes them special. - If I absolutely had to, I would watch a replay. But, it isn't preferred.
It's gonna bum me out if the weather is nice...because, it's basically fall now, and I would much rather not waste a perfect fall day indoors watching tv. But, alas...
Well...it won't be as impactful. Way less random people will be watching tv in the middle of the day.

It's a "nostalgia goggles" situation. - She was the most tolerable diva when WWE only employed models. She had hints of wrestling talent that the average diva lacked. That's really all it is. She was never some amazing wrestler. Not even close. Her and Paige were "okay" when everyone else was trash.
The good vs evil angle could last a few months...then you unmask El Clon and have him go on to do his own thing. Because, you can't really have a huge career just being an alternate version of another guy.
I guess. But, they counterprogram everything from Grand Slam shows to random residencies. They are really just trying to counterprogram every single thing, regardless of what it is. Also, I think if it's an international show...that makes them even more mad, which explains All Out. Lol
A thought I had about El Clon, is that it could very well be a way for Tony to book a successful mask vs mask match in AEW. Because, having an evil version of Hologram doesn't seem like a longterm plan. - They could build this feud on AEW tv, and then maybe conclude it in Arena Mexico. Big payoff. 🤼
Don't really get this logic... I don't look at shows like this. - The matches booked are really all that makes a show good or bad, better or worse than another one. - I have absolutely no preconceived notion about how much or how little All Out or World's End, or anything else "matter"...
Myron Reed is probably more of a nostalgia hit for me than anything else. I was definitely watching him in GCW and MLW, around the same time as guys like Jordan Oliver and Facade. I have fond memories of that whole little "class" of talents. Allie Katch, Effy...all those people.

If they keep underperforming on their massive streaming deals and basically piss off all of the major platforms by wasting a ton of money, then they will simply lose a place to run a show. - We basically know they've done this with Fox and Netflix at this point. Disney/ESPN is next to find out.
I keep rejecting the "too big to fail" narrative, anyway. - Any company can fail with poor leadership...and WWE is the rock-bottom worst right now in that regard. (Something like Toys R Us or Blockbuster can go from stores all over the country, to "relic" overnight). - It can happen to WWE.
Are you going to miss what is potentially your only chance to see a live WWE show...or are you going to pay Wrestlemania prices for a glorified house show? Gee...go figure. - Highway robbery in true form.
It's especially bad when they do this in the international market, where they know that people are itching for any sort of show, because they don't get them often.
I know Taylor Swift concerts are notoriously overpriced, so I can only imagine what egregious pricing this WWE show had. WM42 is $70,000 for front row? 🤼 The entire company lost the plot a long time ago. And they should stop bragging about how much they rip people off. It's actually embarrassing.
From pretty much all reports...it sounds like AEW usually offers a better deal than WWE does. So...it just comes down to personal preference. - This keeps with the theme of most luchadores having no nostalgia for WWE, or giving a shit about working there...honestly. Lol

I think Death Before Dishonor absolutely should help with the way RoH is perceived, and hopefully help land them some sort of deal. - Best case scenario is that a smaller cable channel, or an app like tubi gets the weekly show...and then Max or Amazon gets the RoH catalog in another deal. IMO.

I don't generally like the idea of bringing people on as temporary subs, because then it isn't regular work for them. - But, Veda does a ton of other stuff. So, maybe it's perfect for her. Who knows. - As far as a full time AEW spot, though...I just wouldn't touch those teams.
I don't watch a damn thing from WWE. Haven't in probably two years...but, we all see the clips and the segments that are supposed to be the "highlights" of the angles. And, yeah...her return hasn't felt organic from a single thing I've seen. She's just there.
This is what TK means when he says that people need to actually want to be in AEW. Don't expect a spot...you need to take it. - Lynch was brought back as kind of a "Well...she's Becky Lynch. Of course she's back!" And that's how her character reads from what I've seen.
Veda is excellent. I would never disagree with any stance about where she could fit, or what she can do. It's really just a space issue.
The WWE roster, in general, is suffering from a ton of people simply being there without any reinvention. - Which is what happens when people sign with WWE just to work at WWE. There is no juice moving in that company. The mainstays are expected to be there, and are not innovating a single thing.
I've worked a job where both owners (husband and wife) insisted on being there all the time, and they were constantly fucking up everything...and every employee unanimously agreed on a regular basis that things were better when they stayed home. - That's WWE now. Lol
I think Seth absolutely could shift into that gear...but he would be injured in about a month.
It makes sense at his age anyway. Dude isn't gonna push his body in the way that is required of AEW talents. He's not in his prime any longer. Same with Styles. In WWE, they have the luxury of leaning on character-work and still being booked as a top attraction. But that doesn't fly in AEW.

Maybe. But Excalibur isn't going anywhere, and he's already the play by play guy. To me...Taz, Schiavone and Excalibur are the best 3 person team I've ever seen. You get the play by play from Excalibur, and then you have legacy commentary from Schiavone, and the comedy of Taz playing off the others.
JR is pretty much gone. Schiavone and Taz are getting older...but likely have plenty of time left on coms. So, it's hard to say when someone else would be able to fill a gap.
I would say, you could squeeze her into the RoH team if you tried hard enough. Ian, Coleman, and Veda...or if Ian gets bumped to the main roster more regularly...
I would be...but, like... AEW commentary is solid. I don't know where you'd find the room. - We already have Taz, Schiavone, Excalibur, Nigel, plus random sit-ins like Don Callis, Daddy Magic, or the rare Danielson appearance. Ian sometimes. AEW is an embarrassment of riches with commentary.
Yeah...I was never really accusing him of anything. That was definitely not my intention when I said he might not like AEW. It just seemed like there was some distance between the parties. Really nice to hear that isn't the case.

RoH doesn't have too many belts. Aside from maybe the six man belts. The problem with RoH is that the titles just end up feeling stagnant because they don't have regularly scheduled shows. You aren't going to defend titles on dark matches before Dynamite. And AEW definitely doesn't have too many.
Pushing Solo Sikoa instead of Jacob Fatu is peak WWE. Lol - But, I guess Fatu also has a criminal record and some other factors working against him.
Honestly...instead of developing their own game, AEW should fund a new Fire Pro along with NJPW and CMLL, and call it 'Fire Pro: Forbidden Door'. - The sales split three ways might hurt, but DLC packs could bring extra revenue to the individual parties.
