Cis/trans is measurable in neuroanatomy. An appropriate medical approach doesn’t deny measurable science. It certainly doesn’t reject all data and pretend science is religion. Get a grip.

This might accurately describe the increased threat faced by cis women prisoners. Which is serious and larger than I was aware of. But it can’t conclude that trans people are inherently more prone to criminal behaviour without removing the driving factors and the cis predators taking advantage.
Third. It doesn’t separate the false claims or take account of key drivers of criminality that disproportionately affect Trans people. Past abuse, mental health, social stigma, poverty. (This is similar to figures we’ve seen about criminality in black ethnic minority people)
Secondly the paper lists incentives for prisoners to falsely claim to be trans that do not apply to people outside prison. Therefore we’re likely to see a higher proportion of false claims in prison than outside.
Lower figures are likely just people with GRC or who have medically transitioned, higher figures likely to include people questioning their ID but who are not Trans. The genuine population size is going to be between the two. But where?

No, it includes verbal abuse, threatening behaviour, physical and sexual assault. Yes, I know the figs on murder. Trans people are relatively safe from murder in UK. However the figs for abuse in the home are roughly 2.5 times higher for trans people than women, which is about twice that for men.

Nothing unethical about considering future medical needs based on current medical data. I meant to say cis predators claiming to be trans. This is thought to be the case with several of the people you mentioned, and is the case with Marla Svenja Liebich in Germany at the moment.
