2. Clean up the presentation. It just did not look good on Collision. Personally, I prefer the way UFC shows the tweet widget on PPV. It’s much smaller/cleaner and doesn’t distract from the fight nearly as much as the one on Collision did
1. Just include 2-3 posts each from 3 different social media platforms. I don’t personally think highlighting some AEW fans on X is the end of the world, but it goes without saying that there are PLENTY of posts you can highlight from Bluesky and Threads too
I’m late but I have some thoughts on AEW incorporating tweets into the telecast First off, I get why some folks have had a negative reaction to it. It feels very TKO and, frankly, the presentation was ugly However, I do think this is a potentially useful tool for AEW and I have suggestions:

AEW travels with a union staff, yes. The venue also hires non-union staff to supplement the crew. This is the crux of the whole dispute as I understand it. Also, you literally replied to me. If you don’t care, don’t initiate conversations and then get snide when someone responds

It sounds to me like the issue is that, while AEW has its own staff that travels and is union represented, the locally hired supplemental arena staff is non-union IATSE could have attempted to pressure 2300 Arena in their posts instead of AEW, sure, but what good would that do for the workers?
I understand why so many are defending AEW here but this is how labor disputes work 2300 Arena won’t pay fair wages. IATSE is using AEW as a chip to bargain for the workers. AEW can ignore it and so can the fans. That doesn’t change the fact that IATSE is doing their job

AEW used IATSE 210 in Edmonton. It feels like for places, they use their traveling local Union crew, and for places that they can't they use the IATSE local. The way it should be. Still happy to change my perspective if new information comes out.
I don’t know enough about the crews, I am told the crew traveling is a Union crew. I worked with IATSE and my father was a lifelong member until retirement. I do not see any problem using a different IATSE crew. If more information comes in differently, my opinion will change.
