My wife and I have a similar story. We had to wait nearly 3 weeks after the fetus was determined to not have a heartbeat. Multiple trips to the Dr / Hospital for tests before they finally approved the procedure.

My in-laws passed within 3 mos of one another in 2022. That Thanksgiving and Christmas were really rough. Then my dad passed just after Easter in 2023. All holidays officially suck, but we are gradually building good memories and trying to tell good stories about past holidays.
