I understand that he has just given ICE an annual budget larger than our entire military budget (pre-war) here in the EU. Not only would you be insane as a foreigner to go to the US, I don't think that anyone who isn't white is safe there going forward.

I'd like us to accept more risk with nuclear reactors so that they can be built far faster and more cost effectively. Build them somewhere with no/little people and provide strong insurance for a Fukishima-like incident. The risks of the alternatives are vastly underestimated.

We would be in a fantastic position in tech / high tech given the once-in-a-generation chance that Trump is offering, LLMs (and other emerging tech) has a potential similar to the internet in the early/mid-00s and we should be the best country in Europe to attract and support that talent.

What's so scary about the PvdA? They have one of the best policy sets financially bringing considerable growth. Yes I will pay more tax but the growth should correct that. VVD have what is essentially an OnlyFans model to attract old white men and have betrayed ex-members such as myself.

For me it's the former because I think that it'll be perfect for the Amiga and C64 in the way the cheap LCD + cheap CRT I have now aren't great (although I don't expect it to support RF for the C64).
And I suspect - really hope - that @takiudon.bsky.social is going to come along with a modern integrated OLED (or top tier LCD) PVM in the next year or two. Maybe even using the FPGA for upscaling from OG sources 😜
Yeah I sunk a small fortune. PS1/2/3/DC/GC/Xbox/360/Amiga 1200 all covered. But a normal Trinitron is awesome for all of that, sounds like the extra for a PVM isn't worth it.
