Yeah. Looking back at my post I’m thinking the main culprit of this misunderstanding was trying to stay within character count, so it was as easy to see why you though I meant dialogue. :)

That’s a fair assessment, even though I respectfully disagree. I think you may be confusing my intent in this post as dialogue vs filmmaking techniques utilized in tried and true methodology to get people to watch ‘just one more episode’. I wholeheartedly agree not to use the dialogue! 🤣
My #hottake: watching bad reality TV teaches a writer how to inflate and build drama. Pay attention to how a scene is cut and how cliffhangers are utilized and copy those methods. I said what I said. 🤣 #writing #writingcommunity #amwriting

If you are new to submitting your work to market you start by generating a top-down market list. This means you identify markets in your genres and create a tracking system. There are submission tracker aps too. I use an excel spreadsheet for myself. I have over 70 markets. #writingcommunity #books

Writing tip: To create vivid scenes, engage with all eight of the senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, horse, fashion, and Spidey.
