To be a paid pharma troll, I'd have to be paid. I've heard this accusation since 2020, but I've never seen any proof. Have any? As a physician who knows a lot of other physicians, I can tell you that no regular doctors are being paid to push vaccines on our own patients

You might want to check into cruises, depending on where you live. They can be a pretty inexpensive way to travel and see multiple countries in a week. There's also a website called Going that will notify you when low airfares are available. The free version is pretty good.

It is very expensive to fly and that is a big problem. However, people in the rural south buy $15,000 ATVs, boats, expensive trucks and other toys they don't need. I went to Nepal for 30 days in 1997 for $1500 total, $1000 of which was the plane ticket. Paid for with student loans 😀

I don't understand how people don't see how evil he is. Anyone who has known a narcissist or been assaulted recognizes the red flags

PP should play the same semantics game Bondi does and rename themselves Christian Patriot's Pregnancy Crisis Center but provide the same services

I think they want an excuse to deny claims. They'll use the monitors like Big Brother, so if you do something unhealthy, you're kicked off completely. Eugenics

It's the Christian loophole. You'll get into heaven, even if you're a serial killer, as long as you ask for God's forgiveness before you die. It's very convenient!

If you’re an American should watch the Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown ep on Iran. A deeply humanizing look at a country full of people just like you and me. I watched it after Anthony died and it moved in ways that are hard to relay. I also immediately ran out to try kabob koobideh and tahdig.

The federal government funds residency programs, too. Those could get cut or DEI'd and worsen the US doctor shortage

Exactly what I was thinking! ICE probably can't even identify each other so protestors could show up in uniform, saying they have orders to stand down, and let the people go. Mass confusion 😀

The basic point here is, what Lee is saying is not true, but even if it were, who cares? Whether the assailant is a Marxist or Democrat doesn’t make the act less worthy of condemnation. More on moral disengagement in this post, from my Substack course open.substack.com/pub/asharang...

One potential problem is that it might be difficult to get attorneys to take legitimate cases because they work with law enforcement. Plenty of people would file nuisance suits to try to win some cash, but that could be dealt with by making the loser pay expenses

That's basically how it works with doctors employed by hospitals. The hospital pays the premium, so they have some input into whether the case should be settled or taken to court. The hospital is usually named in the suit, too, because they are the employer.

We get sued when we're genuinely trying to help people and did nothing wrong. Most of us have been frivolously sued and had to settle because it's too expensive to fight, even with insurance. Premiums run about 25% of income! Qualified immunity is BS
