The reason some see Bluesky as insular and twitter as not is that they are in the dominant majority on twitter and perceive less hostility. It's a safe space for them. Bluesky has far more diversity of thought, but that means everyone gets attacked by someone. Some people can't handle debate.

OpenAI has trained ChatGPT (and their open source GPT-oss models) to be, as far as I can tell, affirming, supportive, and friend-like - which I consider to be *colossally* unethical, particularly in combination with the other marketing they've done around it it's actively deceptive to the user

and yes, some games do use internal compression sometimes you'll crack open a ROM or an ISO and find graphics and text data, and it'll be in a clear, non-obfuscated standard format! but games can and do compress shit to save space, especially in the cartridge years, and decompression is non-trivial
