I had to look up what a red flag law was. Here in the UK there is no default 'right' to own a firearm. Most all automatic weapons and handguns are illegal. If you want to own a rifle or shotgun you have to apply for a licence and explain why you want one. Police can and do refuse them.

Finding something that's been misplaced. My wife will play back in her head where she was when she had it and consciously retrace her steps to work it out. I cannot do that. Remembering something is just going from not knowing to knowing without any conscious effort. Like my brain is a black box
Whereas if I don't "know" something, unless it's a mathematical calculation, no amount of time passing will help me figure out the answer. Or at least not consciously. Sometimes I go from not knowing to knowing but not by a conscious process.

I have total aphantasia and the best way to explain it is to imagine a computer with no monitor or speakers plugged into it. Not only can I not picture anything but I don't even know where the screen is. Calculations are happening but they're all internal.

It works by providing text that is then read by a screen reader programme. If you imagine someone with a visual impairment is looking at a web page, the reader can only read "text". An image is just a picture so the screen reader does not know what it shows unless there is alt text describing it.
