I was thinking the same. The elected legislators who served and actively worked to end gun violence being assassinated in their homes is watershed. The man who said gun deaths were needed in America being shot as he intentionally incites hatred isn’t hitting that mark for me.

If I were editing a column about Charlie Kirk’s political genius, I would tell the writer he needed to quote Kirk’s actual political beliefs. If the writer responded that doing so would weaken or distract from his argument, it’d be a pretty good sign that the column was not ready for prime time.
This is such a funny element to the Kirk eulogizing: they can’t describe him the way they’re describing him *and* show clips of anything he actually said or did

I don't have a lot of sympathy for Charlie. Kirk, he has said and done some pretty horrible things and his rhetoric has led to violence against groups he doesn't like. Sometimes that violence returns to the source. Regardless of your political views, this is not a good day for America.
