This is info for other photographers about your First Amendment rights. Yes, we can take photos of ANYTHING visible to the public. But when a police officer tells you to move away, that's for your own safety(and theirs). When the police are arresting someone, you can't be up in their face. LONG LENS
First amendment doesn't allow you to be right up on law enforcement. They probably told him to move away and he probably refused. Get a longer lens, dude. ๐
