I prevent discouragement by looking at each day as a new day. Letting the worries of yesterday stay in the past. It's very biblical. I also release my cares to God as much as is humanly possible. Taking thoughts captive is very biblical too.

I try to live each day new & not bring yesterday's concerns into today. It's about mental health and wellness. Only one problem with that for those who get PEM from #ME/CFS: We often try to recall what we did the day before that put us into the 12-24 hr PEM window causing the new day's fatigue.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve actually had good luck with cardboard in my big beds. I just cut around the plants, and they seem to thrive while the weeds are somewhat held back. The weeds here are just so persistent in rural beds, it’s always an ongoing experiment and the older I get the lower my energy.
What is Trump's plan? Destroy America from within for Putin then take off with his pals to live in Russia for as long as he lives? It all just doesn't make sense. He is destroying businesses, livelihoods, hope, making people sick, stopping progress on important research. USA is no longer a LEADER.

Goal for property: to weed-proof it enough that I don't have so many weeds next year. My fatigue issues can't handle all the work in a timely manner. Will this be possible? Layers of cardboard, plastic, tarp, mulch are what I'm putting in problematic areas. Oh, what a chore it is. #ME/CFS #gardening
So what does one do about their blood flow in the brain?
I report my activity & fatigue into an AI tool. It tells me I have layered reasons for fatigue today. Blood sugar was normal after 1.5 hr gardening, but likely in a drop. #Diabetes2 I should have had more protein before gardening. Carb spike & drop could be an issue I have more than rapid PEM.
Things have turned backwards. May God intervene soon.

It is very very difficult. I feel like as long as I'm flat on my back, I will keep falling back to sleep. It's a tough call of forcing oneself to get up to actually change course.

Miracles do happen 😅. Former dishwasher, dishes were coming out as rejects. We had to pre-wash or rewash. Got a new Bosch & the messiest dishes come out perfect! No scrubbing. My mood is better. No sink full of rejects. (Husband says that commercial: it's your detergent not your washer, is BS). 💗🍁
Thank you. I discovered last spring that barometer changes can be a trigger for me (cold wet weather), and that Sudafed with Advil in it may help. Wow, took 2 today, and after 1 hr, the pain dissipated!! Thankful.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Living with new daily neurological issues must be hard. You’re not alone in feeling like it’s endless. Today I have trigeminal nerve pain in my face. PEM is always dif. Look for tiny sparks of good (a kind word, peace, butterfly) as proof it’s still worth it.

Another sibling at the gathering yesterday whom I asked if he has trouble getting up early or possible CFS replied, "No, cause I don't vax." How disappointing. He had COVID pretty badly '21. but refused to say it was Covid. Red pill Fox news had tainted his ability to think. I am grieved.

#ME/CFS is a very nuanced illness. Not the same for all. Much goes into managing our fatigue so we can have good days or at least a few good hours!
By walking away, I gave her what she wanted most — space to talk about herself — without giving her what she often seeks — a chance to dismiss, argue, or undermine you.
Then said, "It's called AGING." Ah, I expected as much. Dismissing me as per her modus operandi. Enough to call into question if I really have CFS. But it was not the place to discuss more or educate her. It was time to say goodbye and let her have the last word...
At the end of the event, as usual, a narcissistic sibling wanted to weigh in. (Many of you with CFS know this kind of dismissal.) She told me I seemed to be good with no fatigue. I replied that I would likely crash later. She told me how she would crash too. She gave me examples...
