On the one hand, the bottom line is that Elliot Page is leading the life he wants to live in the way he wants to live it, and that’s a good thing. On the other hand, a charismatic, beautiful young woman who was once on this Earth no longer exists, and there’s something sad about that.
Martin Luther King Jr once said, “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” While that is reassuring, I think the United States is currently testing the tensile strength of that arc with all the injustice, hatred, and corruption it is piling on.
