Indeed they do. Itās probably the sugar in the corn. When they wonāt even take the protein, they are at the end of their lives. Apparently, at the end of the summer, the hive shuts down and most of the forgers that bring the food back, die off. So the only thing they want at that point is sugar

Good article in the LA Times recently about a group of Altadena neighbors banding together to rebuild their neighborhood along the lines of the original developer (Ain)ās vision, but with updated materials and codes. Collective building may be the way to go.
Yes. Itās pretty sad for me and many of us who work at the VA that so many other people weāre there to serve, elected someone who hates so many of us, and whose president is trying to fire us all for serving them. So yeah, we know. Even if nobody else does. And we show up to our jobs anyway.

Maybe weāll just return to teaching in colloquiums? When completing my masters, I really enjoyed some of the classes where we had to do the work before hand and come in prepared for discussion in small groups and then take the points raised in the small groups and have a larger whole class session.
The heart of the problem is in how we āsellā higher education. It hasnāt been about improving yourself in decades. It has been the āring pass, notā you MUST achieve to ādeserveā a living wage. As a result, a lot of people in college are there to get good jobs, NOT because they want to learn.
