Also for as gross as it was, it’s easily the prettiest Troma film I’ve seen. Lots of CG backgrounds to create a skeezy fantasy universe on a budget (though it still kept loads of cool practical effects and goo). And I just really like the cartoonishly colorful lighting and set design.
The Toxic Avenger (2025) was very gross, very gory, & I laughed very loud a lot. Peter Dinklage is the most endearing Toxie I’ve seen, tho Luisa Guerreiro deserves credit for being the one actually stuck in that fuckass suit, swinging the mop. Also I love Elijah Wood and Kevin Bacon playing creeps.
