There are a lot of demons (that aren't especially scary looking), but they do get routinely hacked apart by our blade-carrying heroes, who do talk about killing a lot. The shame/acceptance themes are going to go straight overhead, plus some STARING AT SUPER CUTE BOYZ that'll just be gross...
My kids and wife watched it and liked it. I saw the first episode. Other than one plot point that I could very much relate to (broken by a VERY confused staging), it didn't grab me.
