There is truth to this. Should have never allowed vaccine exemptions, for example. And if Ds ever get big power we write some strongly worded amendments to the Constitution (court reform, removal of the fake presidential immunity, etc) and then rule like god-kings until red states pass them.

My wife literally can not tell you how much a single item is. I have the entire store memorized. I imagine you're more the former but there are tons of people who do pay close attention to this stuff.
12 packs of Diet Coke have gone from 5.99 to 11.99 since pandemic. They are often on sale, but I am sensitive to the list price. We all know about eggs. My big tubs of ground coffee have gone from 9.99 to 14.99 (again, often on sale, but I won't buy at list).
