I don't disagree that the war ultimately ended because of cratering support in congress related to costs and financial concerns (as well as of course not achieving any meaningful progress in the war).
I used the phrase "galvanizing the anti-war movement" was to specify the reaction as to the resistance, not to whether or not the broader public sided with the protestors or whether that sentiment translated to cratering support for the war.
