Once you’re media literate and recognise misinformation, you consider not only what you’re being told, but why, by whom, and the political motivations of the publication. You stop seeing every article simply as neutral news, but as views, and often as propaganda. Sadly many people still don’t.

In true community spirit, I was pleased to hear that volunteers, including State Sen. Carlos Guillermo Smith, have since coloured the Pulse Memorial rainbow crosswalk back in, to honour those lost and affected by the tragedy. Resist, always. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I’m beyond disgusted that a rainbow crosswalk in Orlando, Florida that was part of Pulse Memorial was painted over on Wednesday night, after a directive from DeSantis and 🍊. It honoured the 49 people fatally shot and 53 wounded by a gunman at the Pulse LGBTQ nightclub in 2016.
I hope that @lionsgate.com also brings Dirty Dancing in Concert to the UK. I’d love to watch the digitally remastered film with a live band and singers performing every iconic song from the soundtrack. www.dirtydancinginconcert.com
