There's a book I read that might be of help to you. It's called "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, or Self-Involved Parents" by Lindsay C. Gibson. It's horrible that your mom chose to act this way towards you instead of embracing your uniqueness.

One type of comment I bet gets flagged a lot is "I never want to wake up" / "I want to sleep forever". When I interview students who say this, it's less suicidal intent and more "I didn't sleep for *reason".
