I'd never insist that anyone happy making rice on the stovetop get a rice cooker. But when someone starts out asking how to cook rice, I will definitely recommend getting a rice cooker.

Even in 1985 as a 15-year-old I was amused that Marvel unironically used the "mighty hunter" sense of the word for an X-Man villain. Bugs Bunny had already irrevocably made that use impossible.

People with the facts on their side tend to underestimate the power of repetition (or simply get bored/frustrated). You need to plainly state the true thing over and over and over and over. Make it rhyme if you can.

Tried cashew-based "creamy yogurt alternative" for the first time today. Supposedly strawberry flavored, but there was at most a whiff of strawberry. Willing to try other brands (this was Trader Joe's), and it's not at all disgusting, but not good enough to compete with real yogurt.
