Remember when we learned that the Russia was funneling money to republicans (specifically to the trump campaign) through the NRA, and that there was a Russian spy embedded in the NRA as well, and we just never heard anything about it ever again?
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
It's the most obvious sign of his desire to be a dictator. This Congress would gleefully give him anything he wants, yet he willfully choses to circumvent their authority at every opportunity.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Also sounds like something to not bother worrying about, like when he says 2 weeks. They've already been too dumb to not publicly state their intent to do malicious prosecutions, so even if they actually do bring their made up charges against people they'll get tossed.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And the pizza meter was at Defcon 1 last night. So there's definitely not nothing going on, even if it's not that.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Notice how with all the magats clamoring for troops to be sent in, not one of them is asking for troops to be sent to where they live. Even they don't actually want this, but they love seeing it imposed on others.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Definitely not a coincidence that the 2 people most responsible for Epstein remaining free as long as he did both just happened to get appointed to cabinet positions by trump.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I don't know. He can't control maga because that cult of personality won't just transfer over. But, I think the actual republican politicians are so far gone at this point that they'd likely continue as is, at least until they finally figure out that he can't control maga anyway.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Also the Pizza Meter is through the roof. Which means something is going on, even if it's not that.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
While couch fuckers is yet another evil pos, it's also a cult of personality and that doesn't just pass to the next man up.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Don't forget couch fuckers random comment about trump being totally definitely healthy but also he is ready to be president if trump dies.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The thing about gun nuts making knowing everything about guns their whole personality is it means they know damn well a bullet never touched him, but it also contradicts their programming to inherently believe everything he says.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
It makes a lot more sense once you accept that it's intentional.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Imagine how useless they'll be when they're in a state, where they very explicitly have no authority to enforce state law, instead of a federal district.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Exactly why allowing trump to just go ahead and EO prosecutions for something the Supreme Court explicitly ruled is constitutionally protected is a terrible precedent for them to set if they bothered thinking it through for a few seconds.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I remember way back, like 7 months ago, when Republicans believed the government should have no involvement in the affairs of the free market.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I know it's spooky season now, but come on.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Even if we were to all pretend the obvious Russian asset isn't a Russian asset, in a best case scenario Putin certainly isn't unhappy about any of the stuff he's doing.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I call it an impeachable offense. He's literally directing federal law enforcement to make blatant unconstitutional arrests over something the Supreme Court explicitly ruled as protected free speech under the 1st Amendment.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Literally anything to make sure to get the blame to lands anywhere but the absurdly easy access to guns.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And how long do you think couch fucker could go without committing an impeachment offense himself?
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Which is exactly why the rich want to privatize them. Even if there's no resources to mine out of it, they can make a lot of money building resorts and such.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
But, federal government has no authority to enforce state law. So, placing troops in cities does nothing to fight crime because they have no legal authority to do anything unless someone is breaking federal law.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Remind people that the federal government can't enforce state law. So troops placed in cities have no authority to do anything unless you're actively violating federal law, and if they do you just won yourself a nice fat lawsuit.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The crazy thing is the Venn diagram of ammosexual lunatics that sleep with their AR-15 and people who actually believe he was shot is basically a circle.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, of course it was, if you're not doing something super shady, you send literally anyone in the DOJ but your "former" personal lawyer.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Even ignoring anything he's done, being nominated by someone who is actively committing genocide seems disqualifying on its own.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And they won't put her replacement up for confirmation before the Senate, leaving them as only "acting" and thereby not entitled to the residence the position comes with. So, they're clearly doing that on purpose so it can be Noem's house instead.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Only took 10 fucking years for a Dem to finally point out the media's bullshit double standard to their face.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, they did run a whole presidential campaign on this good economy is bad actually, and it worked.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Pretending they actually have a plan for reducing crime, I'm curious what it would even be. Because feds can only enforce federal law, and the alleged crime wave would involve virtually no violations of federal law, so what are they even supposed to do to begin with?
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Also a party of law and order guy just straight-up admitting he willfully breaks the law on a daily basis out of fear someone else might break the law.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Him and Bondi didn't both just happen to get appointed to cabinet positions by trump by coincidence.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
If the local police are federalized, then they no longer have authority to enforce local law, they can only enforce federal law. And since virtually all crime being committed in the city objectively won't involve any violations of federal law, this basically just makes the city unpolicable.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Also, even not being a state, DC still has a separation of local law and federal law, and feds can only enforce federal law. And essentially all the "crime" they're being sent to police objectively doesn't involve any violations of federal law.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
That one would cause Congress to suddenly remember what checks and balances are real quick. They don't care about any of the other stuff he's doing, but they're not letting him eliminate 2 solidly Republican Senate seats.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
In fact, I'm pretty sure federalizing the local PD actually removes their authority to enforce local law and they can now only enforce federal law. Which basically makes most crime unpolicable.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
In fact, I seem to remember him claiming he didn't have that authority and that it was Pelosi who could have called them in but didn't.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Yeah, but that really only hurts normal people, so they don't care. This involves the elimination of 2 solidly Republican Senate seats. They'd suddenly remember what checks and balances are real quick if he tried to do that.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
This is actually more impressive than the record kick, which was in a dome with perfect conditions and he had to crow hop for extra power to barely make it through from 66. This is outdoors, at sea level, with a totally normal stance, and had enough extra on it that it might have been good from 75.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I had to scroll this thread to even figure out what a Sydney Sweeney was. Had no clue if it was the name of a brand, product, person, or some weird sex act.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And somehow, this whole list didn't even get to the part where he lost a massive lawsuit because he couldn't stop himself from repeatedly defaming a woman.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Oh, the guy who just last year lost a nearly $100 million lawsuit specifically because he was denigrating a woman and couldn't stop himself from continuing to do so repeatedly. Yeah, he totally would never do the exact thing he does all the time.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
But, it is going to waste an obnoxious amount of taxpayer money, both in the cost of the attempted persecution itself and the restitution they'll have to pay Obama for the legal fees he incurs from this garbage.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I remember maga being pretty pissed about the AG recusing himself from an investigation that both he and his boss were subjects of, though.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
California should be moving forward with it already because Texas Republicans are absolutely going to force this through one way or another.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Wall Street can't even make up their mind on how to react to his nonsense. They've taken to just ignoring a lot of it now, but then they'll occasionally still send the market wildly flailing when he tweets something dumb that they could have easily just ignored.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I don't know how many more times we need to see the when they go low we go high strategy fail to produce good results at the ballot box before the conclusion that it clearly doesn't work is reached.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
But, in typical Democratic Party fashion, they don't do it enough to actually beat Republicans but do it just enough to look like hypocrites for opposing Republicans doing it.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Kind of reminds me of the time there were 2 really old guys running for president, but the media only ever presented age as an issue for one of them even though they're both effectively the same age.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Where he proceeded to try to require drug testing for welfare and gave the state contract for said drug testing to a company that just happened to be owned by him, then turned down billions in federal funding for a high-speed rail line because he was personally invested in a private HSL project.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And even with the required mental gymnastics to give him credit for creating peace in those situations, that's still 3 peace deals short of the 1 per month propaganda barbie here is claiming.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
If these dipshits keep going around armed, masked, and refusing to identify themselves, it's really only a matter of time before some of them get themselves killed harassing the wrong person. This is America after all, land of more guns than people.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The only time I can recall a presidential candidate ever explicitly promise something for free and the crowd that constantly whines about "free stuff" couldn't have loved it more.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, pedophiles are considered a protected class by the regime.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Not something I ever said or even came remotely close to saying. The lack of reading comprehension from both you and dipshit up there are entirely your own problem, not mine. So, you can fuck right off into the sun as well.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Yeah, you can go fuck right off into the sun with whatever your problem is.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Hey, no clue what even prompted this needlessly dickish response, but get fucked nonetheless.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Seems like a good time to remind people that the first thing trump did his first term was make it easier for people with mental illnesses to get guns.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Trump, Reagan, Nixon: all presidents who used illegal back-channeling with foreign governments to influence the election so they'd win and all 3 just happen to be Republicans.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, his first term started with a GOP controlled Senate not giving a single fuck that foreign governments were using his DC hotel to literally buy favor with him and ended with a GOP controlled Senate letting him walk on starting an insurrection. So, them still not caring is just status quo.

And it was planted there by a guy he fired years before Epstein's arrest.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And routinely complain that normal people get too many days off.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Now that we know he sent his "former" personal attorney to see Maxwell with a regime curated list of 100 names they picked to ask her about, I think that odds of him being dumb enough to release an enemies list as a client list may have gone up some.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
High probability that "sodomy" is a felony in those same states, even though such laws were deemed unconstitutional over 2 decades ago.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I guess that will depend on how much they like her answers to the regime curated list of 100 people they sent trump's "former" personal attorney to ask her about.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Given that they were on private property property without permission, refused to identify themselves, and refused to show a warrant because they didn't have one, I see a sizeable lawsuit coming.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
This should get a fun response from the judge when they hear this "assault" occurred on private property the agents were not given permission to enter and did not have a warrant.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And it was planted there by a guy he fired years before Epstein's arrest.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Her and Acosta, the 2 people most responsible for Epstein remaining free for as long as he did, both totally coincidentally just happened to get appointed to cabinet positions by trump.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
In for some more fun maga mental gymnastics when people collecting SS find out they still owe tax on it.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
If only there was a long established history that people who work for trump inevitably fall out of his favor and end up being at best only largely irrelevant he could have looked at to see what was coming if he took the job.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I guess good thing the first thing trump did in his 1st term was make it easier for people with mental health conditions to buy guns. And each successive group they target is going to have more guns than the last.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Not considering, he 100% is doing it. He didn't send his "former" personal attorney to spend 2 days negotiating, opps I mean "interviewing," her to not pardon her.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The total absence of foresight is the reason he's in this present mess of his own making. But, hopefully this will finally be the thing that actually sticks to him.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Should be, but he didn't send his "former" personal lawyer to negotiate, I mean "interview," her for 2 days to not pardon her.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Election time. No state is going to take that leap as long as there's hope of retaking power to fix the mess; but if Republicans actually move to make their 1 party rule permanent there becomes no point in sticking around anymore.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Which should be done immediately to make it clear to Maxwell that lying for trump is a pointless endeavor because she will be spending the rest of her life in prison regardless.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Which brings back the question of exactly where tf is that money really going? Because there's no way that some repurposed fema tents at an abandoned airport costs anywhere close to half a billion dollars a year to operate.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The kind of thing that should go over horribly in the epicenter of the bible belt that is the state he represents if the people there are actually the kind of people they claim to be.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, if these idiots thought that far ahead they wouldn't be in this mess entirely of their own making that has them about to pardon Maxwell to get out of it to begin with.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And you definitely dont send your "former" personal attorney to "interview" said criminal if you're not doing something extremely shady.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Even though it's a pretty unrealistic depiction because the piƱata actually had a uniform identifying itself as ICE.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Especially since she'll end up posting essentially the same thing for real within the next week or so anyway.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Russia hacked the servers of both parties but chose to only release stuff they stole from the Democrats and in Republicanland this means the opposite of what anyone with a functioning brain would logically conclude.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
They take that as a challenge and have no problem spending as much taxpayer money as they need to dig a hole just so they can still get under that bar.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, that basically just makes her trump.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
This would be the case in a normal world where the Department of Justice was actually still the Department of Justice and not trump's personal law firm/retribution machine.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
And the person sitting in position to get to pick and choose the relevance of anything Maxwell has to say: Conveniently one of the two people most responsible for Epstein being free for as long as he was, both of whom totally coincidentally got appointed to cabinet positions by trump.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I can't remember there ever being a time when that unity wasn't a one-way street for these guys.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
They would much rather see any office be held by a Republican than by anyone even slightly to their left. So, losing is still winning as far they're concerned.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Well, they do still have to pretend like they actually wanted it unsealed.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The lady who wore an "I really don't care, do you" jacket for her visit to one of her husband's a child prison camps, no way.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I mean, they never really did to begin with. His 1st term started with it being well known that foreign governments were using his DC hotel to literally buy favor with him and Congress just flat out did not care. After that there just wasn't much point in bothering to hide it.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
The guy who gave Epstein his non-prosecution agreement to begin with then was later rewarded by trump with a cabinet position; a cabinet position for which his only qualification appears to be having let Epstein walk. I don't think we'll be hearing from him.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
You'd think at some point they might catch on to him always conveniently just happening to be leaving for a totally preplanned vacation every time a disaster hits his state.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
To be fair, that's been a central tenant of the entire "party of personal responsibility" since long before maga.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
Unfortunately, a lot of it happened in Florida, where he was given a free pass by the US Attorney and the State AG, both of whom just happened to later get appointed to cabinet positions by trump.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
At this point, I fully expect she's going to get a pardon in exchange for creating a list that just happens to have only people trump considers enemies on it.
schnaa.bsky.social (@schnaa.bsky.social) reply parent
I don't expect they intend to do much more legislating anyway. Remember, the only thing they really did legislatively his first term was tax cuts for the rich, and well, they've already taken care of that again this time.
