Saw Viola’s Room by Punchdrunk at The Shed. Closest thing I’ve had to feeling like I’m in a living video game. An indie game, powerful, immersive, minimalist, and transporting.
Got a look at the ROG Xbox Ally X today and Silksong. Controls on the Ally X felt great. Couldn’t explore the OS at all. Silksong was fun too but honestly just a brief demo and I have no idea what comes next -
It also lacked the most interesting characters in the series

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

So my insurance no longer covers GLP-1s for weight loss. I’m at a crossroads. It’s really frustrating and disturbing, and my path forward is challenged. But I’m going to look into other ways to cover it, and see what I can do. The health landscape right now is, needless to say, chaotic as shit

Finally saw Sinners, and I can’t believe it took that long. The ending made it one of my favorite movies in a very long time.
Saw Rokid Glasses today…they’re small (for these types of glasses). You can see the waveguide but it’s a nice implementation of monochrome display on regular-type glasses. And the lens inserts are magnetic which is cool.
Weird that the in flight movie I watched yesterday, A Different Man, ends right outside my CNET office that I’m heading back to today

I don’t think there’s a single part of VR/AR I use that taps into AI personalities, or that I really want to use. Smart glasses talk to me but I use it for individual pings of info, not to continue some conversation
