I am sorry to hear your ordeal with breast cancer. There are still many unknown factors with breast cancer. I worry about my daughter, too. That is why I am participating a study for testing breast cancer. At least they should come up with better way to tests. Take good care of yourself.
I had the gene testing and I don’t have any mutations for breast cancer. Yet my sister and I had to have it. My oncologist told me not to worry about my daughter’s risk and thinks my daughter will be fine. Still I have constantly worried about my daughter’s risks. Fingers crossed to you and me.

No MRI? My oncologist recommends a yearly mammogram and a yearly MRI. It is the same recommendation by Color study doctors. I have been in breast cancer study. I haven’t had ultrasound. I guess each case has different types of tests are recommended.
In response to the dismantling of the CDC, California, Oregon, and Washington have launched the West Coast Health Alliance, which will make their own science-based vaccine guidelines, and make sure vaccines are accessible to everyone.
According to my oncologist, ultrasound alone is not accurate to diagnose breast cancer. I would rather have ultrasound alone. Since it is not dependable method for diagnosis, ultrasound is not recommended. If my mammogram shows abnormal results, my oncologist will pursue MRA next.
Exactly what I thought. Every time at mammogram test, I am thinking maybe there are far more male doctors and male engineers who have no experience with mammogram, they don’t care about the pains and discomfort we have to endure. It is 21st century and there should be better way.

She was worried she might make mistakes and put patients in danger because she was not familiar with adult medicine. I was impressed and I am sure doctors didn’t think about their own safety. Even the residents volunteered for the frontline at the hospital for Covid. Give the credit where it is due.
That is true. In the beginning without vaccines or any means to combat the virus doctors put their lives to care for Covid patients. My daughter was pulled into adult Covid ward even though she is a pediatrician due to the shortage of doctors. Her concern was not about her well-being at the time(1)
