When I was 22 I had my second child. Both births were difficult and I hemorrhaged. I wanted a tubal. I was told (by a female dr) I had to wait one year. A year later I still wanted one. I had to get my husband’s signature/approval to obtain the surgery. Freaking pissed me off.
