I don't care if you are Democrat or Republican, it is our job to encourage our friends, our families, our enemies - everybody -to go and vote. Because right now there are people out there who are trying to break down our system. But this is not the first time our system is attacked.

Tragedies like these require reflection and a refocusing of our efforts to ensure people in crisis have easy access to the tools and resources they need to make it through. We need professionals who can see a mental health crisis starting and help direct people to those resources.
As a Retired Brigadier General and lifelong servant to our country, the shooting at Fort Stewart hits close to home. My prayers are with the soldiers, their families, and every member of the Fort Stewart community. I’m thankful for the swift response that prevented further harm.

My heart is breaking for the families and communities devastated by the catastrophic floods in Texas. At least 24 lives have been lost, and the search continues for dozens more. Many of them young girls who were simply enjoying summer at Camp Mystic. 2/2
