I think we need to stop saying that people hate crime. They like punishment. There are clear ways to reduce crime that involve systemic investment in communities but we avoid doing that in favor of ever more militarized policing because too many people in power like punishment.
I hope that the announcement tomorrow is the expected lineup for the mixed martial arts event at the White House.

Wanted to see if they froze well and also if it made any difference if I baked them first compared to freezing the dough. Not sure there was much of a difference. In the future I'll make the cookies all at once and freeze them. (Today I used what I think was the last of the raw dough.)
I'd be lying if I said they'd always make it there. But this time I was good. Made something like 12 or 13 cookies worth of dough. Did an experiment. Made half of the dough into cookies. Froze four of the cookies (in two separate silicone bags). Froze raw dough in 2 to 3 cookie portions as well...
